Core Stability Pilates studio is in its 15th year of servicing the Bayside community and we pride ourselves on providing qualified, quality instruction in a friendly, relaxed and energetic environment.  All classes are tailored to the needs of each individual.

 

The team at Core Stability hold qualifications recognised throughout the Pilates industry and are passionate about maintaining the integrity and traditions of the Pilates Method. We are constantly maintaining our education and training to provide you with the utmost quality of instruction.

About Pilates

The Pilates Method is a physical and mental conditioning program developed by German born Joseph Pilates in the early 1900s. It blends a low impact muscle strengthening program with flexibility exercises.

 

Pilates concentrates heavily on developing core stabilization, which refers to the support given to the spine and pelvis by the deep abdominal and back muscles. Pilates targets the deep postural muscles, by building strength from the inside out.

Pilates Classes

Private sessions

One on one sessions with an instructor at hand to provide constant attention and guidance to meet your needs and demands at every step. 

Semi-private sessions

Individually tailored Pilates programs conducted in a small group setting - no more than four participants per class.

Rachel Williams

Rachel has first hand experience of the demands that pregnancy and child birth can put on a women’s body, and relishes in helping other women best prepare themselves physically throughout this stage both pre and post natal.

Shae Brebner

Following many years of dance training and after the completion of a full time commercial dance course in 1999, Shae taught many styles of dance at ballet and performing arts schools in and around Melbourne.

Suzanne Lindsey

Suzanne has been studying Classical ballet and other forms of dance since the age of four and began her Pilates training over 13 years ago to help her develop her strength and flexibility she needed for dance.

Andrea Collins

Andrea completed her Diploma of Professional Pilates in 2011 specialising in the Polestar methodology and has since taught regular Mat and Studio classes.
